KVC can help prospective volunteers into voluntary work with many different charitable organisations including Kingston Community Furniture.

KVA are the umbrella body for voluntary and community organisations in the outer London borough of Kingston upon Thames. Our main role is to strengthen voluntary and community activity in the borough.

The London Furniture Resource Network was established to improve the standards of the furniture and appliance reuse projects which make up the network in London. The project strives to enable the sector to become sustainable and boosts the image of reuse in the various London communities.

The FRN is the national body which supports, assists and develops charitable re-use organisations across the UK. This is done to reduce poverty by helping households in need access furniture, white goods and other household items at affordable prices. In addition support is offered to organisations in providing training and work placement opportunities for people who are socially excluded.

RBK are responsible for the rubbish and recycling for all residents in the borough. Every person in the borough contributes towards creating this rubbish so we need you to think carefully about what you buy, recycle and throw away.
